Photo Album: CleanSpace, WaterGuard, SuperSump and PowerBraces installed in Barbourville, KY

A Barbourville, Kentucky homeowner was having problems with water and moisture seeping into the basement floor and walls.  The house is about 95 years old with a stone foundation.  We installed WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, CleanSpace Wall System, and PowerBraces to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having. CleanSpace Wall System is a plastic liner, similar to a pool liner, that is attached to the foundation walls.  The liner covers the walls, keeps water from permeating into the basement, and drains wall leaks.  The CleanSpace will be tucked into the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System to drain the water that is seeping through the walls. The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a piping system installed into the floor along the foundation walls to intercept the water that is seeping into the basement.   The water will then be drained into the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller Sump Pump and includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner and Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if there is a pump or power failure to alert the homeowner to a problem with the system.  The SuperLiner has 96 holes throughout the liner to allow water to also flow in from under the floor.  The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps objects from falling into the liner and also quiets the pump. PowerBrace System is steel I-beams that are secured tight against the wall with brackets attached to the floor and floor joists.  The PowerBraces immediately stabilize the foundation wall from any further settling and the bracket is designed to be adjusted over time to potentially reverse wall failure.   These systems working together will give the homeowner a space that can be used for storage without worries of water intrusion or settling.
