Photo Album: CleanSpace Encapsulation System installed in Louisville, KY
A homeowner in Louisville, Kentucky noticed that there was some water and also animals getting into the crawl space of their home. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky and met with Tony, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that a CleanSpace Encapsulation System is installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having in the home.
We installed a CleanSpace Liner, CleanSpace Drainage Matting, SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation, and a SaniDry Sedona.
The Clean Space Liner is a bright white 20-mil-thick plastic liner that is attached to the floor and walls of the crawl space. The CleanSpace Liner provides a moisture-proof barrier between the ground and the home.
The CleanSpace Drainage matting is installed under the CleanSpace Liner. The CleanSpace Drainage Matting has dimples throughout it to provide a channel for water to flow out of the crawl space.
The SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation is expanded-polystyrene insulation with graphite infused into it to reflect heat. This keeps the floors in the living space warmer in the winter and lowers your heating cost.
The SaniDry Sedona is used to dry and filter the air. Too much humidity in the home encourages mold growth, musty odors, and makes the home feel humid. The special filters in the SaniDry filter out mold spores, dust mite droppings and other particles in the air.

SilverGlo Insulation is installed on the walls of the crawl space. The shiny graphite will reflect heat back into the crawl space making the floors warmer in the winter.
