Photo Album: WaterGuard, SuperSump and WellDuct installed in Park Hills, KY.

A Park Hills, Kentucky homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky regarding problems with water seeping into the basement.  The homeowner met with Mike, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, and a WellDuct Window Well Drain is installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having in the basement.  The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is our patented piping system that is installed under the floor along the perimeter of the basement foundation walls.  The WaterGuard will intercept water that is seeping into the basement and then drain it into a sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement and will keep the basement dry. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller Cast Iron Pump.  It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner, and an Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if the water reaches the point that the pump should have turned on.  This will alert the homeowner to a problem with the system that needs to be resolved.  The SuperLiner is a heavy-duty liner that houses the pump and will not cave in or crack.  The Airtight Lid will keep the water from evaporating back into the basement.  It will also keep objects from falling into the liner, keep out odors and insects and helps to quiet the pump.   The WellDuct Window Well Drain is installed on the inside of the basement wall.  The WellDuct Window Well Drain is used to drain the water that floods into the window well.  The water will drain through the duct and into the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System.   Another product that could be considered for this project is the BrightWall Paneling System.  A BrightWall Panel is a plastic paneling system that is permanently attached to the walls much like traditional paneling.  The difference in this paneling system is that it will drain wall leaks and keep water from permeating into the basement.  The bright white finish gives the basement a semi-finished look.
