Moisture Barrier
Our CleanSpace liner is similar to a pool liner in that it is durable, vapor proof, clean, and bright. They are taped at all the seams.
Crawl Space Sump Pump
Our SmartSump system was designed specifically for crawl spaces. We used three of them for this huge crawl space. They come with alarms to alert the homeowner if water level in a sump pit rises above the point where the sump pump should normally activate, giving homeowners time to figure out what the problem is.
Drainage Matting Under Vapor Barrier
Under the white CleanSpace we installed our dimpled drainage matting. The drainage matting makes the vapor barrier softer to crawl on and helps drain water to the sump pumps underneath the CleanSpace.
Energy Efficient Dehumdifier
This dehumidifier is automatic which makes it use less energy than others. We set the dehumidifier to keep moisture levels down to a certain percentage. It has a huge fan that bodes well for this huge crawl space.
Open Vented Crawl Space
Open vents only work in climates where its dry and warm all year round. In Kentucky where the winters are cold and the summers and springs are wet, open vents bring in troublesome air to your crawl space.
Wet Crawl Space
This wet trench was probably the result of a failed existing waterproofing system. The trench also proves this crawl space receives a lot of ground water, which is more than cause to waterproof it.
