Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard and TripleSafe Sump to resolve water problems in Ft. Thomas, KY
Rachel, a homeowner in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky was having problems with water seeping into the basement. They called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky for a solution to this problem. She met with Brice, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that a TripleSafe Sump Pump System and WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is installed.
The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing system is a piping system installed along the bottom of the foundation walls that will intercept water that seeps into the basement. The water is then drained into a drainage system, such as the TripleSafe Sump Pump System.
The TripleSafe Sump Pump System includes 3 pumps. Pump 1 is the primary pump that will do the majority of the pumping. If Pump 1 would fail or become overwhelmed by the amount of water that is seeping into the basement pump 2 will begin pumping. Both pumps running together can pump a total of 6200 gallons of water per hour! Pump 3 is the UltraSump Battery Back-up Sump Pump. It will operate on battery power and has an automatic charging system. All three of these pumps fit perfectly into the TripleSafe Liner. Also included is the WaterWatch Alarm, 3 pump stands to hold the pumps off of the bottom of the liner, and a knockout lid.
With these systems in place, the homeowner will no longer have to worry about water seeping into the basement.
