Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard, SuperSump and BrightWall resolve water problems in Highland Heights, KY
A Highland Heights, Kentucky homeowner was having problems with water seeping in from the cellar into the basement and called Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky for help resolving this problem. The homeowner met with Steve, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System along with UltraSump Battery Back-up System and BrightWall Paneling System is installed to resolve this problem the homeowner was having in the basement.
WaterGuard is a piping system installed along the foundation to intercept the water that is seeping into the basement. The water is then pumped into a sump pump system, such as the SuperSump to be pumped out of the basement.
The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump. It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, The SuperLiner, and a special Airtight Lid. The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if there is a pump or power failure to alert the homeowner of a problem with the pump. The SuperLiner is a rugged heavy-duty liner with 96 holes throughout it to allow water to flow in from under the floor. The special Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps things from falling into the liner, quiets the pump and is strong enough you can stand on it or store things on top of it. The UltraSump is a battery back-up pump system that will automatically turn on during pump or power failure and comes with its own battery pack and charging station.
The BrightWall Paneling System is 4x8 sheets of plastic paneling that are permanently attached to the walls with special fasteners. These panels not only cover the walls but drain water leaks down into the WaterGuard to be pumped out of the basement by the sump pump. These products working together will make this basement a drier, healthier, more usable space for the homeowner.
