Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard, SuperSump and PowerBraces installed to resolve moisture and bowing wall in Lexington, KY

A Lexington, Kentucky homeowner was having problems with moisture and bowing walls in the basement.  The home was built in the early 1900s with a block foundation.  We installed WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, and PowerBraces to resolve these problems for the homeowner. WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a piping system installed into the floor along the foundation walls.  This piping system will intercept the water that is seeping in and drain the water to the sump pump to be pumped out of the basement.  This will keep the basement safe from water intrusion and give the homeowner a usable space for storage or extra living area. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller Sump Pump.  It also includes the WaterWatch Alarm, the SuperLiner, and the Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm alerts the homeowner during times of power outages or pump failure.  The SuperLiner is a rugged liner that will not cave in or crack.  The Airtight Lid is strong enough that you can even stand on it!  It also keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps objects from falling into the liner and quiets the pump. The PowerBrace System is steel I-Beams used to immediately stabilize the foundation.  The PowerBraces are secured tight against the wall with brackets attached to the floors and floor joists.  The adjustable bracket is designed to be tightened over time to potentially reverse wall failure. These systems being installed, the homeowner will have the peace of mind that the basement is safe from water intrusion and that the foundation will no longer have movement due to settling.
