Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard, SuperSump and BrightWall used in Lexington, KY

A homeowner in Lexington was having problems with water seeping into the basement.  The homeowner met with Brice, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System, and BrightWall Paneling Systems are used to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having.   WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a perimeter piping system installed into the floor along the foundation walls.  This piping system intercepts the water that is seeping into the basement and drains it into the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a high-end 1/3 hp pump.  It includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner, and an Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm sounds if 1 the water reaches the point that the pump should have turned on 2 if the primary pump fails or 3 during times of power failure.  The WaterWatch Alarm will alert the homeowner to a problem with the system that needs to be resolved.  The SuperLiner is a heavy-duty liner that will not cave in or crack.  The Airtight Lid is strong enough to stand or store things on.  It will keep water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps objects from falling into the liner and helps to quiet the pump.   BrightWall Panels are sheets of plastic paneling that cover the walls and also help to drain wall leaks down into the drainage system below.  The BrightWall Panels really brighten up the basement and give it a semi-finished look. These products working together will give the homeowner a basement that can be used for storage or extra living space without worries of water intrusion.
