Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: House on a hill that has water intrusion in Ft. Thomas, KY

A Ft. Thomas, Kentucky homeowner has a home that is located on the side of a hill and was having problems with water intruding into the basement on one side of the house.  The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky and met with Walt, a certified inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a TrenchDrain, TripleSafe Sump Pump System, and BrightWall be installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having in the basement. WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a non-clogging piping system that is installed around the inside perimeter of the basement.  WaterGuard is designed to not sit in the sediment under the floor of the basement.  WaterGuard is used to intercept the water that seeps into the basement.  The water will then be drained out of the basement, keeping your basement dry and able to be used for storage or recreation.  A TrenchDrain is also a piping system but has a grated top to allow water to flow into so that it can also be drained out of the basement.  TrenchDrains are usually installed across doorways and hatches.   The TripleSafe Sump Pump System is a three pump system.  Pump 1 is the primary pump and will do the majority of the pumping.  Pump 2 is a high volume pump and this pump will run if Pump 1 fails or becomes overwhelmed with a high water volume. Pump 3 is the UltraSump Battery Back-up Pump and runs on battery power and comes with its own battery and charging station. BrightWall Panels cover the cracks in the foundation and drain wall leaks into the WaterGuard so it can be drained out of the basement to keep the basement dry.
