Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Drywall Replaced with Waterproof Panels in Monticello, KY
A home in Monticello, Kentucky that was built in 2002 was seeping some water into the basement between the walls and the floor. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky and met with one of our Certified Inspectors to find a solution to this problem. This water leak situation was unfortunate because the drywall had become ruined. Luckily though, we have a special drywall repair system for situations like these. While we waterproofed the basement, we replaced the drywall with our EverLast wall panels. The panels were designed to only be a couple feet high so that we don't have to tear out the drywall completely. They also come with beautiful trimming and are moisture proof, so they won't ever grow mold. They also have a vapor proof backing that helps drain water to the subfloor drainage system. For homes with damaged drywall as a result of a leaky basement, this system is the perfect solution.
New Sump Pump
We installed our TripleSafe sump pump next to their existent pump.
Subfloor Drainage System
WaterGuard has been installed around the perimeter of the basement to intercept water built up around the outside of the foundation. The drainage system fits right into the wall system.
EverLast Basement Wall System
The EverLast Panels have been installed at the bottom of the wall in this basement. They can be fitted with electrical outlets, prefect for finished basements.
Wet Basement Drywall Repair
The EverLast Basement Wall System is durable and washable, unlike drywall.
Wet Drywall
This is the wall before the waterproofing was done in the basement. There's no doubt that this drywall needed to be ripped out sooner or later.
