Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: WaterGuard, SuperSump resolve water in New Albany, IN
A New Albany, Indiana homeowner was having problems with water seeping in through the walls and between the walls and the floor in the unfinished basement. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky to find a solution to this problem.
The homeowner met with Brice, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that our patented WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System are installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner was having in the basement.
WaterGuard is a sub-floor piping system that is installed to intercept the water that seeps into the basement and drain it away, unseen by the homeowner, to the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement.
The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump system is a high-end 1/3 hp Zoeller pump that can pump up to 2,650 gallons of water per hour out of the basement. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System also includes the WaterWatch Alarm, the SuperLiner, and the Airtight Lid.
These systems working together will provide the homeowner with a dry basement that will be able to be used for storage without worries of water intrusion.
Another product to be considered would be BrightWall Paneling System. BrightWall Panels are 4x8 sheets of plastic paneling that cover the walls and also drain the wall leaks down into the WaterGuard. The bright white color of the BrightWall reflects natural light and give the basement a semi-finished look.

The WaterGuard has been installed along the foundation walls of the basement to intercept the water that is seeping in. It will then be pumped out of the basement by the SuperSump.
