Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a stone foundation in New Castle, KY
A home built in the 1860s with a stone foundation was experiencing water seeping into the basement. The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky to find a solution for this problem. The homeowner met with Billy, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump and CleanSpace Wall System is installed to resolve the water problem in the basement.
CleanSpace Wall System is the most economical of the wall systems. CleanSpace is a 20-mil-thick plastic liner that is permanently attached to the walls with special drilled-in fasteners. The CleanSpace Liner will drain wall leaks down into the WaterGuard to be drained out of the basement.
WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a sub-floor piping system that is used to intercept the water that seeps into the basement. The water is drained into the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement. This will keep the basement dry and allow the homeowner to be able to use the basement for extra living space or storage without worries of water intrusion.
