Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Bowing and leaking wall problems resolved in Bellevue, KY

This home was built in the 1950s and has a block foundation that is bowing and leaking water into the basement.  We installed the PowerBrace System, WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and also a Super Sump Premier Sump Pump System to resolve the problems they were having in this home. The PowerBrace System is steel I-beams that are installed tightly against the foundation wall with brackets that are attached to the floor and floor joists.  The PowerBraces immediately stabilize the wall and protect it from further movement.  The Adjustable bracket is designed to be tightened over time to potentially even reverse the wall failure.   The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is a piping system that is installed into the floor along the foundation walls.  The WaterGuard intercepts the water that is seeping into the basement and then drains the water into a sump pump system and is pumped out of the basement.  The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump that is used to pump water out of the basement.  The SuperSump includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner, and an Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound during a pump or power failure to alert the homeowner to a problem with the system.  The SuperLiner is a rugged, heavy-duty liner that houses the pump.  The Airtight Lid keeps things from falling into the liner, keeps out insects and odors and helps to quiet the pump.   With these products installed, the foundation walls will be stabilized, protected from further movement, and can possibly be straightened over time.  The WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System along with the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System will drain the water out of the basement and help to keep the basement dry.   If you are having problems with a bowing wall, or water penetrating into the basement, call The Basement Doctor for a free estimate.  A Certified Inspector will meet with you one-on-one in your home to show you how we can help you resolve your basement problems and restore this valuable space in your home.
