Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: PowerBraces, WaterGuard and SuperSump installed to resolve basement problems in Ft. Mitchell, KY

A Fort Mitchell, Kentucky homeowner was noticing cracking in the foundation wall and was also interested in having a drainage system installed into the basement of the home.  The homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky and scheduled an appointment with Roger, a Certified Inspector, for a solution to this problem. Roger Recommended that WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump system, Bright Wall Paneling System and PowerBraces are installed to resolve the problems that the homeowner is having in the basement. WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System is our patented sub-floor piping system.  The WaterGuard is used to intercept the water that is seeping into the basement.  The water is then drained into the sump pump system to be pumped out of the basement. The SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is a 1/3 hp Zoeller Cast Iron Pump that is used to pump water out of the basement.  The SuperSump includes the WaterWatch Alarm, SuperLiner, Airtight Lid.  The WaterWatch Alarm will sound if there is a pump or power failure to alert the homeowner to a problem with the system that needs to be resolved.  The SuperLiner is a heavy-duty liner with 96 holes throughout it to allow water to flow in from under the floor and also houses the pump.  The Airtight Lid keeps water from evaporating back into the basement, keeps objects from falling into the liner, keeps out odors and insects and helps to quiet the pump.   BrightWall Paneling System is 4'x8' sheets of plastic paneling that is used to cover the walls like traditional paneling but also drains wall leaks down into the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System. The PowerBrace System is steel I-beams that are secured tightly against the wall and secured with brackets that are attached to the floor and floor joists.  The PowerBrace System immediately stabilizes the foundation wall and protects it from further movement.  There is an adjustable bracket that is designed to be tightened over time and can potentially reverse wall failure.
