This album contains photos from a full basement waterproofing system we installed. We placed WaterGuard subfloor drains along all edges of the perimeter of the basement, installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and a SuperSump sump pump. Our system is great because it relieves your basement walls of built-up hydrostatic pressure, which can prevent your walls from bowing and cracking. A great touch for this project was adding a CleanSpace vapor barrier. The CleanSpace vapor barrier is such a great solution for walls that have experienced years of leaking because it helps drain leaks coming from the walls down to the subfloor drains. It also covers up all the stains, cracks, dirt, and it looks... Clean!

The CleanSpace walls are moisture proof, and will be sure to protect whatever kind of walls you want to put up over them. This basement is free at last to be turned into something greater than just storage space!

Clean Space Vapor Barrier

The CleanSpace walls are able to contort across any surface. We install CleanSpace with moisture proof buttons, and seal all the seams with a vapor proof tape.

Sump Pump & Dehumidifier

Here is the corner that contains the SuperSump sump pump and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The dehumidifier ties right into the sump pump, as it collects lots of water out of the air. The SuperSump comes with a Zoeller cast-iron, 1/3 HP pump, which can pump 2,280 gallons per hour.

Bright Vapor Barrier

Our CleanSpace vapor barrier reflects light very well! No need for flashlights down here! Side note: We run a flood test before leaving to make sure the system is working probably. This involves taking a hose and spraying near all the drains. This process also helps us clean up all the dust and dirt off of the floor!

Trench Drain For Stair Well

Here we placed a trench drain near the basement door leading to the stairwell. The trench drain connects to the WaterGuard drains adjacent to it, underneath the floor.

Musty Existing Basement

Moisture had taken a toll on this basement, which resulted in stains, musty odors, puddles, cracks, ruined insulation, etc...

Poured Foundation Wall Leaking Troubles

A poured foundation is most likely going to leak at the seam between the floor and the wall. This stairwell was also helping water travel down to the basement, which is why the trench drain was a must on installation.
