Existing Dirt Floored Crawl Space
This crawl space just looks wet doesn't it? The smells emitting from the existing crawl space were annoying the homeowners,
Drainage Matting
Our drainage matting helps drain ground water to the sump pump by giving space in its bubbles for water to move through. It also makes the vapor barrier softer and more durable, which we installed on top of it.
Vapor Barrier
Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is similar to a heavy pool liner. It keeps moisture out, brightens the crawl space, and is sealed everywhere with a moisture proof tape.
Insulation Panels and Drainage Pipes
The backfilled gravel you see here surrounds the underground perforated pipes. The gravel helps to Drain the mud from the ground water. The insulation paneling you see here is called SilverGlo, and they have great insulation properties and are mold-proof.
Concrete Slab in Crawl Space
This concrete slab is where a lot of the plumbing is situated in the crawl space. Our dehumidifier will be able to eliminate these pools of water when the plumbing leaks.
Dehumidifier and Sump Pump
We situated the sump pump in the lowest part of the crawl space so all the water will run towards it thanks to gravity. The dehumidifier you see here is called a SaniDry Sedona, and is patented for its world class technology. The dehumidifier is automatic and will discharge all the water it collects to the sump pump. After we took this picture we covered the gravel with a layer of concrete to keep this slab looking nice.
