Fallen Fiber Glass
When fiberglass soaks up moisture, it becomes heavy and may fall from the ceiling.
Encapsulating with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is very similar to a heavy duty pool liner, and will keep moisture out of the crawl space.
Drainage Matting Goes Under the Vapor Barrier
Our drainage matting is dimpled, which helps control the flow of water under the vapor barrier to the sump pump. It also strengthens the vapor barrier and makes the vapor barrier softer to crawl on.
Backfilled Drain Pipe
We like to use a very specific kind of gravel to backfill the drainage pipe. This gravel will help drain the mud from the water before entering the water enters the drainage.
Dehumidification & Waterproofing System
Our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier hooks up to our SmartSump sump pump, which allows the dehumidifier to discharge all the water it collects out of the air automatically. The dehumidifier also is set to a certain humidity level, so it saves energy and doesn't run constantly.
Drainage Pipes in Crawl Space
We use perforated pipes to help drain all the groundwater to the sump pump. The sump pump is situated in the lowest part of the crawl space so gravity works to our advantage.
