Encapsulated Crawl Space
Now that this crawl space is treated, the homeowners won't have to worry about wood rot or potential structural damage any longer.
Wall Insulation & Drainage Matting
The silver panels you see along the walls are our SilverGlo insulation panels, which are moisture-proof and super effective. The brown dimpled matt you see on the floor allows water to channel underneath the white vapor barrier that is installed overtop of it. The drainage matting also allows makes the vapor barrier stronger when crawling on.
Automatic Dehumdifier
Our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier is tucked into this corner of the crawl space right next to their existing sump pump. Our Sedona has a condensate pump that will help discharge the water it collects out of the air into the sump pit automatically.
Vapor Barrier
Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is a very thick plastic liner, similar to a pool liner. It is taped at all the seams and buttoned up the walls of the crawl space.
Musty Crawl Space
This crawl space was musty before we encapsulated it. Luckily, the fiberglass insulation in the ceiling hadn't received too much moisture yet, so we left them in the joists. Most times, the fiber glass needs to be removed because of mold. This homeowner called us at a good time.
