Photo Album: Foundation settling resolved with Helical Pier System, in Taylor Mill, Kentucky.

A Taylor Mill homeowner called The Basement Doctor regarding some settling in the foundation.  We installed the Helical Pier System to resolve this problem for the homeowner. A Helical Pier has a steel pier that is mechanically screwed into the ground until it reaches competent soil.  The weight of the foundation is not transferred through the pier to the competent soil.  This stabilizes the foundation to keep it from moving any further.  We will also attempt to lift the foundation back to the level position.  Call The Basement Doctor to schedule an appointment with a Certified Inspector.  Our Certified Inspectors can explain the complete process to you and answer any questions.
