Photo Album: Foundation Repair Contractor in Waddy, Kentucky
We installed helical piers for this homeowner in Waddy, Kentucky. Part of this front porch was sinking towards the left side, so we aimed to install a few piers under the sinking slab. Piers are installed by mechanically screwing them into the ground until they reach competent soil. Once this is achieved, a bracket is attached to the pier and the home's foundation footer. This will transfer the weight of the porch from unstable soils to competent soils. This immediately supports the foundation and is warrantied for the lifetime of the structure. Depending on conditions, we may be able to lift the foundation, like we did for this porch. Please be sure to scroll through the photos for more details.
Helical Pier System
Here you can see an upclose picture of the bracket and how it attaches to the bottom of the footing. It's "L" shape design ensures its secure to it.
Sinking Front Porch
We installed our piers underneath this porch to stabilize it for its lifetime.
Helical Piers Installment
The Helical Piers are attached to the footer of the home's foundation, so once installed and backfilled, they will be underground and out of sight.
Foundation Lifting
The hoses you see connected to the piers are how we transfer hydraulic fluid to attempt a lifting process.

We used a bubble level during the lifting process to ensure everything evened out.
