Photo Album: Bowing walls resolved with PowerBraces in Lexington, KY
A home in Lexington, Kentucky, had some walls that were bowing, so the homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky to find a solution to this problem. The homeowner met with Paige, a Certified Inspector, to find a solution to this problem. Paige recommended that the PowerBrace System is installed to resolve this for the homeowner. PowerBraces are steel I-beams that are secured tightly against the wall with brackets that are attached to the floor and floor joists. There is an adjustable bracket that can be tightened over time to potentially straighten the wall.
