This homeowner got a partial waterproofing system installed about four years ago, put in by us. When they noticed water beginning to find ways in where we did not place the system, they wanted us to turn the partial system into a full system. To complete the system for this large basement, we added another TripleSafe sump pump to the mix to help the existing TripleSafe. In the before and after pictures, you can see we placed new WaterGuard drains to the left of the existing pump.

Crawl spaces can provide useful storage space or even necessary access to a home's wiring or ductwork. Unfortunately, in [city_page:state], most crawl spaces have dirt floors that are prone to moisture problems and fluctuating temperatures. This can contribute to mold and moisture issues, including wood rot, which can lead to compromised structural integrity.
The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky offers complete crawl space repair and preservation services, including crawl space encapsulation, crawl space waterproofing, and crawl space insulation. We install effective, proven durable dehumidifiers, air purifiers, vapor barriers, and crawl space jacks to improve structural stability. Improving the supports in your crawl space can also lift or prevent sagging floors in your home above the crawl space.
Foundation problems are intimidating, costly, and stressful for homeowners. Luckily we make the process as easy as possible, from evaluation to solution and cleanup. It is our specialty to not only identify the exact problem with your foundation but also to install proven solutions and prevent the problems from recurring. Whether you have stair-step cracks in your foundation walls, bowing walls, crooked windows or doors, or any other signs of foundation trouble, we can help.

The owners of this basement had us install a partial waterproofing system four years ago. They only wanted a partial because they only noticed water intrusions from the one side of the basement. We didn't pressure them into anything they didn't need and we told them that we could come out again to install a full system if they noticed water coming from the sides they did not want waterproofed. After four years, they noticed that the other sides of the basement had become wet. Sometimes, a partial system can work, but most often as time passes, water will build up higher and higher on the sides not waterproofed. When the pressure builds up too much, (after four years in this case) the water eventually finds a new way into the basement. When we came out to turn the partial system to a full one, we installed WaterGuard drains and connected them to the existing ones and the existing TripleSafe sump pump. We also added another TripleSafe sump pump in the opposite corner of the basement, as this larger basement could use two of them. We also installed CleanSpace walls so that the owners could finish the basement once they have the resources to do so.
