Crawl Space Repair Company in Mount Vernon, Kentucky

This homeowner had a crawl space with a thin plastic barrier covering the floor. The homeowner quickly realized that they were going to need more than that to keep their crawl space healthy, so they give us a call to install a sump pump system, a dehumidification system, an encapsulation system, an insulation system, and a sealed access door. Having just a thin layer of plastic on a crawl space floor isn't enough to stop moisture from rising into your crawl space, and its important to take all the necessary steps to guarantee a healthy crawl space.

Basement Waterproofing with Trench Drain in East Bernstadt, Kentucky

When installing a full interior perimeter waterproofing system, it's important to have a trench drain near doors leading outside. Stairs outside these doors are prone to ushering water towards your basement floor, and so its important to capture this water with a trench drain before it reaches the basement. This trench drain is connected to WaterGuard drains, which go beneath the floor and up against the basement walls. The drainage system as a whole then leads all the water to a SuperSump sump pump.

Crawl Space Encapsulation Contractor in East Bernstadt, Kentucky

Something that drives us crazy is when home builders cut corners on their crawl spaces. A crawl space is the backbone of your home, and yet despite decades of research and advancements, they still haven’t reconsidered their methods. The conventional dirt floored, open vented, fiberglass insulated crawl space is just not worth it at all. Unfortunately for this homeowner in East Bernstadt, who had a relatively younger home, their uncared for crawl space was deteriorating rapidly. When they called us out for help, we told them about all of the research that shows they can still get a big return on investment by repairing their crawl space the right way. They agreed to the repairing job and we got to work within the next week. The result was a treated crawl space that will help the home last much longer than it would have without the treatment.

Crawl Space Moisture Control System Installed in Manchester, Kentucky

This crawl space was having trouble with moisture control. We fixed this problem by wrapping the crawl space in our CleanSpace lining, which is able to seal out moisture due to its inorganic composition. We also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which is built for keeping large spaces completely dry. We also added some rim joist insulation and some vent covers. Moisture won't be a problem any longer for this crawl space.

Storm Shelter Waterproofing Installation in Waynesburg, Kentucky

This storm shelter was a 10 foot by 10 foot square, where you had to enter through a trap door. The problem the customer was experiencing with the storm shelter was it was growing mold, and it was at risk for flooding. We fixed these problems by installing WaterGuard drainage all under the perimeter of the interior of the shelter, connecting to a Super Sump sump pump, and CleanSpace matting all over the walls.
