Before the intervention by The Basement Doctor team, the homeowner faced a concerning issue: the main beam in their crawl space was compromised due to sinking concrete columns, leading to a sagging problem that threatened the integrity of their home. As you can see in the 'before' photo, the significant sagging posed a serious concern. Fortunate for this Owingsville, KY homeowner, our solution was at hand. We installed our innovative SmartJack system, a reliable and durable fix to reinforce the weakened structure. We also replaced the main beam, as it was too far gone. The 'after' photo showcases the remarkable transformation, bringing peace of mind and stability back to the homeowner's life. With our focus on providing a lasting solution and an exceptional customer experience, we're proud to restore not just homes, but homeowners' confidence.
This basement had an existing waterproofing system that eventually failed. We decided to replace their outdated system with our state-of-the-art interior perimeter system. The system we designed for this basement included our WaterGuard subfloor drainage system, our SuperSump sump pump system, and our BrightWall wall paneling system. The WaterGuard was installed all around the entire perimeter of the basement, ensuring all possible entrances for water leaks are directed to the sump pump. Our SuperSump is able to discharge 2,280 gallons of water per hour. Our BrightWall panels cover all the stained walls and help channel leaks from the walls down into the subfloor drains. The result of this project is a clean, dry, beautiful basement.
We installed a white Clean Space liner across the floor and walls of this customers crawl space. We also installed SilverGlo insulation panels on the walls, a SmartSump sump pump, and a Sani Dry Sedona dehumidifier.
This basement in Owenton, KY, was experiencing immense amount of water pressure outside the foundation. We relieved the pressure by waterproofing with our subfloor drains and our sump pump. We then stabilized the walls by installing our PowerBrace steel I-beams. We also added a CleanSpace vapor barrier behind the beams to help drain wall leaks to the subfloor system.
This home in Georgetown, Kentucky had a foundational problem that could lead to complete destruction of their home, not to mention it was also causing flooding. After we inspected the problems, we suggested power braces and a waterproofing system to ensure a dry and healthy home. The family agreed and we began our installation process. Power braces, made of high-quality steel, were expertly placed along the basement walls to reinforce and support the foundation. Their adjustable design allowed for potential corrective measures, ensuring long-term stability. Alongside the power braces, the team installed a sump pump system in the basement floor along with a drain system. This smart solution would efficiently collect and redirect any incoming water away from the home's foundation, preventing water buildup and flooding. With the power braces and sump pump working in harmony, the home was now fortified against foundation issues and water woes, making it a safe and dry haven for her family and belongings.
