The owner of this new home wanted their new crawl space properly prepared for the future. We installed our standard crawl space repair system consisting of a SmartSump sump pump hooked up to a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, CleanSpace lining, drainage matting, and EverLast crawl space door. The result is a crawl space that is properly prepared for the future and will surely last a long, long time.
In the before photo, this crawl space in Science Hill, KY, visibly showed dampness issues that pose risks such as mold growth and structural damage. The dry, clean transformation seen in the after photo showcases our expertise at The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky. Using our effective CleanSpace® system, combined with the powerful SmartSump sump pump, we ensured a dry, reliable foundation for this homeowner. Our systems provide superior performance, protecting homes from moisture, and associated problems. Homeowners trust in our proven systems to maintain a safe and dry home environment.
Before: This crawl space in Williamstown, Kentucky, was dusty, humid, and unprotected — the kind of environment that invites mold, moisture damage, and poor air quality. The homeowner was concerned about the long-term impact on their home and reached out for a permanent solution.
After: We transformed the space with a full CleanSpace® vapor barrier encapsulation, sealing off the crawl space from the earth. To manage water, we installed drainage matting, perforated drain lines, and a SmartSump® system for reliable water removal. A dehumidifier was added to keep humidity in check, and we finished the job with SilverGlo® insulation panels along the walls to improve energy efficiency.
The result is a clean, dry, and protected crawl space — and a much healthier home above.
This crawl space was open to the earth, and as well all know, was allowing moisture from the dirt to slowly deteriorate the newer crawl space. These customers made a good call by completing this project early on in the crawl space's life. The Clean Space moisture barrier and the Smart Jack posts will be keeping this crawl space new looking for a long long time.
If you are looking for a home renovation projection to have done, a crawl space encapsulation may be the perfect choice for you. If your current crawl space has high humidity, sagging floors, dirt and pests, or groundwater leaks, an encapsulation may be the best investment you could make for your home. In terms of getting your money back through prevented structural issues, lower energy bills, and better air quality in the home, you can't make a better investment for your home.
